Havana, Cuba | December 14, 2024 —Building on the growing momentum of its cultural outreach efforts in Cuba, the Green Zone Foundation (GZF) has announced the launch of a new Arabic language course utilizing the AlifBee mobile application. Scheduled to begin in January 2025, the course is designed to provide an interactive and entertaining learning experience tailored specifically to Cuban learners who are eager to explore the Arabic language and culture.
AlifBee, developed by Arabic language experts, uses a user-friendly and intuitive system that allows learners to progressively build their skills in writing, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and listening. The app’s engaging format includes vocabulary games, dialogue simulations, voice recognition, and cultural context modules, all aimed at enhancing fluency and retention in a dynamic way.
GZF’s decision to integrate this app into its programming aligns with its broader mission to use modern technology to make language learning accessible, inclusive, and culturally enriching. The course will be supported by local facilitators and educators, helping participants stay motivated and engaged while also connecting them to a wider community of Arabic learners.
This new offering also serves as a continuation of GZF’s efforts to strengthen ties between Latin America and the Arab world, promoting not only linguistic skills but also cross-cultural appreciation. By providing Cubans with a practical and enjoyable way to learn Arabic, GZF hopes to open new doors for educational exchange, career opportunities, and deeper intercultural understanding.
