Havana, Cuba | December 20, 2024 —The Green Zone Foundation (GZF) has taken a significant step in expanding its outreach by launching a new online Arabic course, now accessible to learners in Havana and across Latin America. This initiative was formally introduced during a special meeting-conference held on December 18 at the House Museum of the Arabs, located in the heart of Havana’s Historic Center, and formed part of the vibrant Arab Culture Week celebrations.

The event brought together cultural leaders, educators, and members of the Cuban community to witness the unveiling of GZF’s latest efforts to promote Arabic language learning. Representatives of GZF in Havana emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to fostering linguistic and cultural exchange between the Arab world and Spanish-speaking countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

A central feature of the initiative is the introduction of AlifBee, a mobile application developed with support from GZF, designed to provide an intuitive and engaging Arabic learning experience. The app accommodates users at all levels—whether they are complete beginners or advanced learners—and includes interactive lessons focused on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension.

By combining modern technology with a culturally immersive approach, GZF aims to make Arabic language education both accessible and enjoyable. The launch at the Arab House Museum symbolizes the Foundation’s vision of uniting communities through education, dialogue, and shared heritage—reaffirming its mission to build lasting cultural bridges between the Arab world and the Latin American region.
